The Indian smartphone market is currently exploding. Growth has happened so quickly and expanded so rapidly that many new services are having to be released to help out this burgeoning market. This has prompted Google to announce a new translation app, Tap to Translate, that will be released in India in the first quarter of 2016. The app will allow users to instantly translate data within any 3rd party app like WhatsApp, Facebook, and others. The current system is slow and clunky, requiring users to copy and paste text in order to translate it between Hindi, English, and whichever other languages they may speak. Now Android users will simply be able to copy text from anywhere on their phone and have it instantly translated. Their Google Translate software has been available since October, but this is the first time Google will be releasing a system specifically for the Indian market.
