Google is making a bigger push forward with its Cardboard virtual reality system, and one step in that process is reintroducing spacial audio to the SDK. The Cardboard SDK update is available for Unity and Android and will allow people to incorporate spatial audio to their VR apps. This will allow developers to create audio that sounds more realistic and accurate for the human ear and make audio seem as though it exists in a 3D space.
