Everyone on Twitter has an opinion and they all want to express their opinions online. That’s the whole reason Twitter exists! However, if a user wanted to get straightforward feedback they’d be hard-pressed to find it amidst all the tweets, re-tweets, and hashtags. Twitter has announced that it will be releasing a new feature that allows any user to quickly and easily insert a basic poll into their tweets. This will allow users to easily crowdsource opinions on specific topics. Did a referee make the right call? Who won the presidential debate? Twitter polls will help people make sense of it all! Importantly, other users need not reply or post on the topic to have their voices heard. They can simply click the answer they like and have it converted into a percentage. This new feature should help spark plenty of Twitter debates.
