The world is going mobile. Not only is more and more US Internet traffic coming from mobile devices, but globally there’s a huge influx in the number of people accessing the Internet through mobile devices. Currently there are 3.2 billion people in the world with access to the Internet, but a whopping 2 million of them access it through a mobile device. These numbers will continue to grow as big tech companies like SpaceX, Google, and Facebook implement new platforms like high-altitude planes, balloons, and satellites that will provide Internet access for the remaining 4 billion people on the planet.
