Cold weather and touch screen devices don’t mix. It can be very frustrating being outside in the freezing cold weather and having to remove your glove to send someone a text message. Sure there are fingerless gloves and specialty gloves that work with touch screens, but those aren’t the norm. Apple has finally caught onto this problem and filed a patent to allow touch screens to work with gloves. This is great news for anyone who lives in the colder parts of the world, but also for companies who require gloves on the worksite for safety reasons. It’s unclear how soon Apple would put this technology to use, but the fact that they’ve released a patent is promising!
