Talk about a bias! Apple has been called out once again for using its iOS App Store’s Top 10 section to promote its own apps as opposed to the apps that actually deserve the honors. There’s not necessarily any evidence to nail Apple for it, but the fact that their own apps appear and disappear seemingly randomly in the top app lists has many people speculating that the company is up to no good. Sensor Tower began investigating the problem in November, but Apple has declined to comment. Apps like Numbers, iWork, and iMovie all appearing in the Top 10 Free Apps portion of the iOS App Store is certainly fishy, but only time will tell if this is a real problem.
