Google has been playing around with virtual reality (VR) since its release of Google Cardboard – literally a piece of cardboard in the shape of a headset that allows people to access VR content through their smartphone – but now they’re getting serious with the technology by making their VP of product management, Clay Bavor, focus exclusively on VR tech. Bavor has been with Google for 10 years and this move shows that Google isn’t messing around anymore with their VR department.
