Facebook is making every effort these days to make sure that you don’t ever need to leave their website to access all the news and information offered by the Internet. The social media giant announced that it will expanding its search functionality to include all 2 trillion of its posts. Currently, a Facebook search will pull up results and information based entirely on the people you know and the pages you like. Content from search results will be stacked and ordered so that legitimate news sources appear first, followed by relevant posts from friends, and at the bottom will be aggregated links that are connected to the search topic. Facebook might not be the new Google, but the change will give users a much more robust search experience.
