Considering making the switch from an Android device to an iPhone? Apple is making it easier than ever to transfer all of your data from an Android phone to an iPhone with a new app called ‘Move to iOS’. The app will allow contacts, message history, bookmarks, photos and videos, mail inboxes, calendars, and more to be transferred directly to an iPhone. If your Android phone had apps on it that are also available in the iOS App Store then a link to re-download those apps will appear on the iPhone. Paid apps will appear on the user’s iOS App Store wish list in case the user would like to pay to download them again. It’s a clear move by Apple to get users to switch over from the Android platform, but it’s sure to make the transition far easier for those who choose to use it.
