Android Pay is making the next step in mobile payments by now being available for users when they check out in mobile apps. This is an obvious next step for mobile payment systems, but Android Pay will be the first of the mobile payment platforms to offer this feature. Currently Android Pay checkout in mobile apps like Lyft, Jet, Spring, Wish, Instacart, Doordash, Hotel Tonight, Open Table, and more. This new payment strategy will make it easier for users of Android Pay to complete purchases, as well as cementing Android Pay as a default method for purchases. This feature is only available in the US currently and Google has not specifically said when the service will be available to other countries, although they do have plans to continue rolling it out through 2016.
